Paid internships for undergraduates.

Through the LA County Arts Internship Program, we are seeking undergraduate students to fill two paid, 400-hour internship positions: SOCIAL MEDIA INTERN and SPECIAL EVENTS & ARCHIVES INTERN. The positions are full time or part-time, and begin as early as June 1, 2021 and finish by March 1, 2022, with flexibility to work from home. Applicants must attend school or have a permanent address in Los Angeles County. Students graduating May - December 2021 are eligible. Directions to apply are below.

Social Media Internship

The focus of the project is to expand our social media reach and to implement and expand our social media marketing plan for 2021-22 concerts and events. Primary responsibilities require high-level writing and communication skills, the ability to create social media content as well as short videos and fluency with Facebook and Instagram. Experience with graphic design is a plus. Secondary responsibilities include event and general office support.


Special Events & Archives

The Intern will assist with virtual and live events at the Grand Annex, Warner Grand Theatre and in the community and with the development of history exhibits (virtual and live) to celebrate the 90th Anniversary of the historic Warner Grand. Primary responsibilities include writing, research and creating website and social media content. Secondary responsibilities include concert and event set-up, general office support and attending community meetings.
