Award winning regional favorites Andy Hill and Renee Safier return with the Hard Rain Band and a three-piece horn section to continue their full-length album concerts. Hear live, the complete CD, A River is Gone.
Based in the South Bay, the duo has been performing together for more than 20 years. Their folk-driven rock performances draw loyal fans and high energy sell-out crowds.
Hill and Safier's 13 songs and independent CD releases have won them a long list of awards, including Billboard World Music Awards, Honorable Mention; the Los Angeles Music Awards' "American Group of the Year" and International Acoustic Music Awards' "Best Duo / Group." As a songwriter, Hill is a student of the folk and rock giants, such as Van Morrison, The Band, Neil Young and Bob Dylan. In 2005, Renee's prodigious blues and jazz vocals won the acoustic blues competition at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival.
At the Grand Annex with Kirk Makin, Dave Batti and Edo Tancredi.
