Blues-rocker Dave Widow and his band The Line Up, bring their funky R&B flavored music back to downtown San Pedro.

Dave began his career learning his craft at the feet of the late great Lonnie Mack. He has worked with music legends Buddy Miles, Bonnie Bramlett, and Bill Champlain to name but a few. His CD "Waitng for The World To End" has been featured on KJAZZ's "Nothing But The Blues" with Gary Wagner and Sirius Radio B.B. Kings Bluesville program.

Also on the bill is Bernie Pearl, who serves up acoustic blends of Texas, Piedmont, Delta and Hill Country Blues. Pearl was recognized and awarded for his CD collaboration with Barbara Morrison,"Take Your Time." Lightin' Hopkins and Mance Lipscomb were some of his early mentors from his days at the iconic folk club The Ash Groove. His first big break came when he became lead guitarist for Big Mama Thornton. Pearl was the originator of" Nothing But The Blues" on KPPC (now KROQ) 50 years ago, then bringing it to KLON (now KJAZZ) later. He was also one of the founders of original Long Beach Blues Festival.

Special guest musicians are blues guitarist Kirk Fletcher, whose resume includes playing with the legendary Fabulous Thunderbirds and Joe Bonamassa, plus popular session drummer James Gadson and bass player Michael Be Holden.

This concert is produced by Dave Widow.
