The film features the plight of a Mojave Indian who gets into trouble when he comes to Los Angeles to seek work to support his wife and young son who are back on an Arizona reservation. This indie feature was funded by the American Film Institute and received the International Critics Prize at the San Sebastian Film Festival in Spain. Re-released nationally in 2006, it was chosen as one of LA Weekly's DVD picks of the week. Q & A with writer and director Bruce Schwartz and costar, James Espinoza.
