Rarely seen together, L.A. based indie artists Inara George (The Bird and the Bee), Becky Stark (Lavender Diamond), Eleni Mandell and Alex Lilly (Obi Best) lace their impeccable harmonies around retro and new pop, jazz, folk and country.

Inara George: George grew up surrounded by the music of her father, Lowell George of Little Feat and his musical friends, Jackson Browne, Van Dyke Parks to name a few. A talented singer/songwriter in her own right, she’s making the indie-rock headlines with the Bird and the Bee, a collaboration with mega-producer and 7-time Grammy winner Greg Kurstin, and has released four solo albums. Here's Release Me, a cut from her album, Dearest Everybody and also from the soundtrack of "This is Us" Season 3 Ep. 3.

Eleni Mandell: Have you heard her new album? Wake Up Again, is Mandell's twelfth full-length release and was inspired by her work with the Jail Guitar Doors program. Many of the songs for this new album were written while coaching women inmates to express their stories through song. Listen to the single "Circumstance" from the album, released earlier this year.

Becky Stark: As frontwoman for the band, Lavender Diamond, the New York Times described Becky Stark as "Lucille Ball and Tinkerbell engaged in a duet." Stark performs regularly with John C Reilly and Friends at the Largo at the Coronet in Los Angeles, she collaborated with the Decemberists on their album The Hazards of Love, and her song, “Song for the City” is featured on the soundtrack for the film, City of Ember starring Bill Murray and produced by Tom Hanks.
Here's a song with Becky and John C Riley.
