Volunteer

Grand Vision has an ever-growing team of volunteers, who help power all aspects of our organization – from live concert production to street festivals, from major galas to office support. Our volunteers have interests in music, theater, local history, film and community and more. Volunteers come from all over the LA Harbor Area and share the belief that the arts bring people together and help build a healthy community.

Below are descriptions of different ways volunteers can get involved.

Grand Annex Volunteer

Americana, jazz, rock, tributes and even flamenco . . . If you’re a live music fan, this is the place for you. Annex volunteers take tickets, serve concessions, sell merch, help set up and clean up, and get to see the show.

Warner Grand Theatre Volunteer

Volunteers staff the Info Table at San Pedro’s historic movie palace during major events. You’ll meet and greet audience members, share the latest Grand Vision news, help build our mailing list, sell merch and see the show.

Gathering for the Grand / Special Events Volunteer

Volunteers are they key to making sure our annual off-site events run smoothly. Volunteers help with planning, event day set-up and staffing for our annual fundraiser, The Gathering for the Grand as well as for local community festivals.

Warner Grand Theatre Docent Program

If you’re interested in local, theater and/or film history, you just might want to be a Warner Grand Theatre docent. After completing a 7-session training course, our docents offer fun, educational tours of the Theatre to groups and individual visitors.

Team Taiko Volunteer

Volunteers work with a GVF staff member to coordinate and promote our community-building taiko program and also can participate in learning the basics of Japanese taiko drumming.
