The "Grand Chairs" & Their Artists

A San Pedro studio artist for the past 13 years. Maintains a working studio and showcase gallery in the art district of San Pedro. Primarily self-educated, active in painting/assemblage, sculpting, and teaching for over 30 years. Has shown in galleries and museums as well as university exhibits on the East and West coasts. His work can be found in many private collections. A list of exhibits, collections, publications is available upon request.

My interest in encaustic as a medium was the basic reason I chose the theme for the "Sweet Seat" entry in the Grand Chair Affair. It gave me a chance to toy around with bees wax and to explore a 3-dimensional visual pun which I like to do from time to time.
