Craig Antrim’s artwork explores one of the fundamental paradoxes of human perception- how light, which is invisible, makes our world visible by reflecting off of the objects surrounding us. Using colorless interference acrylic paints, the unique and changeable colors in Antrim’s work become visible through refraction rather than reflection – materializing invisible white light. Over the past ten years, his exhibitions have included: El Camino College, Angel’s Gate Cultural Center, Orange Coast College, LA Artcore Artbank, Mount San Antonio College, Barnsdall Art Park, Skirball Museum, and the Korean Cultural Center.
